Few days back my father had ha viral in which he had a feaver and cough and cold And I have took an consultantaion on practo with a Dr Now cold and feaver is gone but cough is not going even after talking syrups What to do please guide he is kidney transplant patient diabetic as well

Sometimes post viral cough can persists for few days. However if persisting beyond 2 weeks, you should consult again.Meanwhile sip warm water,can take some cough syrup and avoid cold water or beverages.
