I cut my middle finger pretty bad close to my knuckle and have got it stitched up. I have it splinted up with a waterproof bandaid on it. If I put my hand in a plastic bag with it wrap up tight, is it ok for me to swim?

I would suggest you to refrain from swimming for a few days until it properly heels as the chances of infection would be high until the wound has completely healed and normal skin has covered the area. Hope this is helpful.
