Vertical lines on nails

Asked for Male, 1 Years

My son is 8 months old. His weight is 10 kg. He is on breast milk & recently started semi solid (only fruits).He is an active baby. He is having vertical lines on nails since birth. Is this due to any vitamin deficiency or any other health issue? His medicines includes vitamin D3, multivitamin & iron drops. Dosage is 0.5 ml daily. Please let me know the reason for vertical lines on nails.

Why only fruits? You can start rice , dal, multigrain kanji, vegetables. The nail findings might be due to post viral infection or zinc deficiency. You can give zinc drops for 2 weeks
