Continue using compression stockings during the days. Sleep with legs and feet raised up by at least 5-6 inches at night. You cannot proceed immediately to surgery as you have DVT as well. Keep a look out for swelling of legs associated with redness and pain. Especially after any long travel. Chronic DVT can become an emergency if it goes to acute stage due to any reasons.
