Hi!
So, my mother got her first covid vaccine (covishield) on September 15,2021. Her due date for second dose was December 8,2021. But because of some error in the cowon portal, she couldn't get the vaccine. After which she suffered from high BP for a while, so she still hasn't got her second dose. There has been a huge gap. Her due date for 3rd dose is on September 7, 2022. So, is it too late for her 2nd dose? Or should she start afresh and start with first dose again? We are in a dilemma.
Thanks

It is not too late, and You don't need to start with the first dose again. It doesn't matter. The COWIN app will show her due for her second dose only. So give her the second dose.. and then automatically her booster shot on Cowin will be 6 months after second dose.
She already took 1st dose so now it will be her second dose only.
You can't take more than 3 dose for now.
Don't be in dilemma go for the second dose.
According to the cowin portal she has already taken 1 St dose so now obviously it will be her second dose.
