Vaccination during covid
I have taken my 1st dose of covidshield vaccine during my covid 19 infection. <i was not aware i had covid then> Kindly help me with below concerns 1.Is that 1st dose of vaccine is wasted i.e. it is of no use for me now? 2.If yes,Can i take the 1st dose of vaccine again. I want to take sputnik now, will that be possibly.

Don't worry, don't change the brand also Go ahead with 2nd dose of Covishield on your due date ( Presently 12weeks after 1st dose and after Covid Infection- GOI guidelines)

If you are too worried then after your Covid infection settles you can do Covid antibody test. If it’s good then take your second dose as per the schedule .

Take 2 nd dose covishield 12-16 week after recovery....no second dose from same brand possible only
