Vaccination delayed due to high antibody
My parents took 1 dose of covishield on 23rd april 2021 & mother started having covid symptoms on 29th april and all members tested positive in aRTPCR on 6th may but I tested negative. My father succumbed to infection on same day. I wanted to get vaccinated but doctor advised me to do antibody test. My igg+igm result was 23& doctor advised me to postpone vaccination for another 2 months along with my mother. We need to relocate and delaying vaccination is putting us at risk. Kindly advise if by any means i can take early vaccination.

As you already have a positive antibody titre, it’s best advisable to wait for a period of 1-3 months before you go ahead and take the vaccination.
