UTI in first trimester-antibiotics
I am 2.5 months pregnant. I had to take cefixime twice a day for 5 days for uti and 1 g monosef injections twice for 10 days for typhoid. I also used vaginal pessaries. Now, i again developed uti. I have attached urine culture report. Now, doctor has recommended me fosfomycin trometamol 3g (have to take it 3 times with gap of 10 days). Now,my question is, i have taken lot of antibiotics. Now again i have to take fosfomycin. Is it safe to take antibiotics in first trimester? And fosfomycin is also safe?
