USG follicular monitoring

Asked for Female, 29 Years

Hi, i have being trying to conceive since a year now and finally thought to see a dr, my concern is regarding usg follicular study..my dr has suggested me to start my first usg on the second day of my periods till the last day..and while going through few sites i found that it is done after periods on the 10 day or so...i very uncomfortable doing it during my periods not sure what to do .
