Use of Sunscreen gone wrong. Tanned too?

My skin type is more of dry and a bit oily on the Forehead attimes..skin was very good n clear with no acne problem. When i met a dermatologist for keratosis pilarasis prob i was asked to wear sunscreen daily so i have been using photostable sunscreen from last 2yrs and after the use of that i just started getting lot of pimples on my forehead n cheeks which end up scarring.its bit too oily for my face but the tan protection was good. i have lot of pimple scars and pigmentation/ freckles now. Could u please suggest a sunscreen that would not cause pimples again. I asked a doctor recently n he said that was the best sunscreen to use..so im confused.. or should i use the same sunscreen only when im out because i dont want ti get tanned too?
