As site and cause is important for ulcer so diminishing the cause and proper medicine is recommended by your kids dentist. Plus many times we don’t give any ointment rather force proper diet and local application of some smoothing Pediatric ointments for kid
Hi
I am a pediatric dentist(child specialist dentist). I suggest you to use anabele gel instead and apply it using an earbud. Also give the child Vit B12 capsules once a day for 2 weeks. Pls check if the ulcer is due to biting of that area or was the ulcer accompanied with fever. If it recurrs pls get back to me.
Dentogel contains choline salicylate + lidocaine (local anaesthetic)which is generally not recommended for children.
There is also risk of swallowing and numbness, which can lead to choking or accidental burns while eating.
Next Steps
you can use Dologel CT for kids. Use small amount, 2to 3 times a day.
