Urticaria medication

Asked for Male, 30 Years

I've been on medication for urticaria since Dec 2017. First few months it was Citrizine.. Since June 2018, I've been on Elina 10mg(mizolastine) as advised by my doctor. Rashes do come, but are less frequent and smaller. Is it safe to be on allergy meds for this long? How long is too long?
