Urine Infection during Pregnancy
Hi, I am 8 months pregnant. One night I started feeling uncomfortable as I got pain in my back and also very tight stomach. My doctor suggested urine test. My urine report showed Pus Cell 4-6/hpf and Epithelial Cell 15-20/hpf. I belong to small city with not very good doctors here. Please suggest me if it is a serious condition considering my pregnancy? They have given me Urired to drink and a cleasner to wash.

Urinary tract infection in pregnancy is not uncommon, Get urine culture and sensitivity test done to know the causative bacteria. Relatively safer antibiotics has to be taken Amoxicillin 500 mg twice or thrice daily, Or nitrofurantoin 200 mg twice or thrice daily may be a good choice
