Urine fell on his face while changing
When I was changing diaper of my baby boy( 2 weeks old) he urinated and that urine was on his face and 2 drops that he tasted. Is it fine? M really worried. please guide
He took formula feed 90 ml after that and pooped too
Please help me

Nothing to worry. A few drops of his own urine accidentally touching face/mouth is generally harmless in a healthy newborn. Since he is feeding well and passed stool normally, no treatment is needed. Just clean face with normal water. Observe only for usual symptoms like vomiting, poor feeding, fever or lethargy, which are not expected because of this incident.

Urine is a sterile liquid produced by the body. It doesn’t do any harm if it falls on skin and other body parts. Small drops of liquid even if it enters mouth doesn’t cause any toxicity. Wash the baby thoroughly taking care not to injure sensitive parts. No worries.

Completely harmless. Newborn urine is sterile — two drops on the face/mouth cause no harm at all. His feeding 90 ml and passing stool right after is very reassuring.
