If you have a prescription for Cefalexin 500mg tablets from your previous UTI and you still have some tablets left, you could potentially take the same medication for a total of 10 days for your current UTI. However, it's important to note that self-medicating can be risky, and it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional before taking any medication, especially if you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking other medications.
In addition to taking medication, there are some preventive measures you can take to help reduce the risk of UTIs:
1. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water and other fluids to help flush out bacteria from your urinary tract.
2. Practice good hygiene: Keep your genital area clean and dry, and wipe from front to back after using the toilet to avoid spreading bacteria from the anus to the urethra.
3. Urinate frequently: Don't hold in urine for long periods of time, as this can allow bacteria to multiply in the bladder.
4. Wear loose, comfortable clothes. Clothes that are too tight can trap sweat and make it easier for bacteria to grow, so choose fabrics that let air through.
5. Avoid irritants: Certain products, such as bubble baths, scented soaps, and feminine hygiene sprays, can irritate the urethra and increase the risk of UTIs.
If you are unable to get an appointment with your GP, you could try contacting a local walk-in clinic or urgent care center for assistance. Additionally, some pharmacies may offer UTI testing and treatment services there.

You can use cephalexin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days for uncomplicated UTI till you will be able to get an appointment with your doctor.
Drink enough water ,use urinary alkaliniser like Ural twice daily.
However you need to find the cause of recurring UTI
Ideally you should give a mid stream urine sample for lab analysis before you start cephalexin
Well need a culture report before starting the antibiotic course
Enough fluids / coconut water
Norflox 400 safer to start twice a da till the culture report comes. Takes 72 hours
