My uric acid is 7.9
And my age is just 17yrs I have been taking calcium and vitamin tablet for about 2 months at lest. I found out when I broke my leg 3mnths back then it was 7.0 & now 7.9 .What could be the reason & what precautions should I be taking? I have been taking a proper diet as prescribed by the doctor. Pls reply asap

Hyperuricemia patients are of two types:
1. Over producers- increased production of uric acid.
2.under excretors- impaired excretion of normally produced uric acid.
Going by you age..you may be a over producer..!
