Uric acid 10.1. How much febuxostat dose
Hi I am 26 years old man and I have problem of high uric acid 10.1 mg/dl which I discovered a month ago when I have pain in left foot and cannot able to walk properely and now I am on medication febuxostat 40 mg since last three days and will be on for 10 days now I want to know in how many days I get normal uric acid and permanently get rid of it

Increase uric acid is also known as gout.. the crystals of uric acid get deposited in diffrent joints causing pain. Ur uric acid level is very high and u shuld take extreme precatuions for that.. many drugs also cause increase in uric acid. Also high protein diets also increase uric acid exceetion and deposition.

u shuld take tab febuxostat mg once a day for 1 week and then twice a day for 2 weeks. after that again check for ur uric acid level. dont stop the medicines on ur own.
