It is for the son. Since last five days his fever has gone max 101.4and have given him crocin after that two times in five days only. Cough, sore throat and body ache were there first two days only. Now fever is less than 99 today. I have given him papaya leaves and Amala garlic juices.
What should we check. CBC report conducted on 7th and 10th September enclosed. Please check special reference to WBC Platelet count and remarks by pathologist regarding platelet count.
Please advice

The reports indicate a viral infection. Kindly get a dengue test done if not already performed.
Decrease in WBC and platelets indicate viral infection.
If the symptoms doesn't improve, kindly admit him in a hospital for IV Fluids and further management.
Keep him really hydrated. Plenty of water orally.
Look out for bleeding. Blood while passing urine (could be seen as orange/red coloured urine), blood while passing stools (black or red colored feces) could indicate dengue with worsening conditions.
Next Steps
Hydration, admission to hospital and IV fluids plus further treatment. Look out for bleeding.
Your son's blood report is suggestive of Vital fever with thrombocytopenia (fall in platelet count). Platelet is required for normal homeostasis. When platelet counts fall, there is chance for his blood pressure to fall. Hence, he needs continuous monitoring of his vitals.
Most common etiology is Viral infectious causes, among which Dengue Fever is common.
Dengue IgM test can be done.
Treatment includes: fever management, good oral intake, if not taking orally, will have to start intravenous fluids.
Next Steps
Serial monitoring of Platelet Counts and Hematocrit.
Recording of his blood pressure
Health Tips
If any danger signs, return to hospital at the earliest
Danger signs:
1. Persistent vomiting
2. Severe abdominal pain
3. Any Bleeding manifestations
4. Breathing difficulty
5. Lethargy
6. Restlessness
The WBC count is decreased and Platelet levels have been significantly decreased. My first differential to rule out will be Dengue ma'am, we may have to take NS1 Antigen test for that.
I require the trend of fever in this case. Kindly contact Nine nine nine six four one two zero three in whatsapp. Thank you.

Your son’s CBC shows platelets 212to 197 (still normal, >150k) and WBC within safe range.
Fever is settling, no danger signs at present—continue fluids, rest, and paracetamol if >100°F.
Repeat CBC only if fever persists/worsens or bleeding signs appear. If more questions are in your mind, you can contact me on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine for free consultation.
The reports and history are suggestive of a viral picture.
Don't worry about the platelets as manual cout is normal.
Take vit C .
Paracetamol 500mg only if fever is there.
Repeat CBC after 3 days
Reports are not that much concerning
Will require more information
Next Steps
book a consultation so that we can order a proper line of investigation and manage
Health Tips
in mean time keep your son hydrated by giving plenty of fluids including ors
mantain healthy diet
and do not let him go to school or classes to prevent the spread
It could be a Dengue fever.
Get him admitted to the hospital as the more concerning phase starts after the fever subsides. Do not mistake it for resolution of the disease. He needs to be monitored for BP any bleeding and Platelet count.
The fever has already started coming down which is a good sign, but the main concern is the platelet count trend. In the CBC of 7th Sept the platelet count was 124,000/µL, and by 10th Sept it has further dropped to 82,000/µL. WBC count has also come down but still within the lower end of normal, which is common in viral fevers like dengue.
Next Steps
•Get a CBC checked daily until the platelet count starts rising.
•Keep him well hydrated (ORS, coconut water, soups, plenty of fluids).
•Only Paracetamol for fever if it goes above 100°F. Avoid medicines like Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Diclofenac.
•If any of these appear, or if platelets fall further below 50,000/µL, he should be taken to hospital immediately for monitoring.
•Since the fever is settling and he is otherwise improving, this may just be a viral thrombocytopenia, but consultation with a physician is strongly advised with these reports.
Health Tips
• Closely watch for warning signs – bleeding gums/nose, red spots on skin, blood in stool/urine, severe abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, or excessive weakness.
Manual platelet count is nearly normal
Kindly give him tab zifi 200 mg twice daily after food for 5 days
Give zincovit tablet once daily after 7 days
Drink plenty of water and take ors thrice daily .
Total water intake should be upto4 litres per day including ors
Repeat manual count from good lab like lal path or redcliffe.
