Unwilling to take up responsibility
She is a 60 yr lady, who was widowed 18yrs ago when her husband committed suicide due to depression. She has a good social circle and keeps herself busy with devotional readings and discussions. Family related - She is never interested in taking any responsibilities but she is quick to point out flaws and very rarely appreciates good things in what others do. Achievements of others are always considered much better than her family's. While she is very lost in thought & does not pay much attention to what is being shared with her, she eagerly shares her details. While she doesnt remember what was shared with her a day ago, she easily recollects several incidents from over 40 yrs ago. Family members are facing difficulties in trying to understand what makes her happy and how she can become more involved with her family. What could be the reasons for her behaviour (is it age related?)? Thanks.
