My bp n rate remain higher.. i am ocd patient n on fluvoxamine since many months... sometimes I skip the medicine for 1-2 days.. could the symptoms be occurring because of taking medicine improperly? Today I took my medicine after 3 days. I am worried that my symptoms are because of serious problem like heart disease or brain tumour

I'm truly sorry to hear that you're feeling low and struggling with what seems to be not just OCD but also anxiety symptoms. It's commendable that you've taken steps to address your concerns by seeking medication, however, considering your current state, counseling can be incredibly beneficial in providing you with the right support as only medicines may not help in the long run.
Next Steps
Consult a counselling psychologist who can work towards helping you feel better and regain control over your life.

It's crucial to follow your prescribed medication schedule and consult with your doctor before making any changes to your medication. Additionally, the feelings of impending doom and health concerns could be related to your OCD symptoms. OCD can often manifest in physical symptoms and health anxiety. I strongly recommend starting counselling to help you better manage your OCD and address your concerns about your health. At Mind Sculpt, we offer online sessions and have experience working with individuals dealing with OCD and related concerns. In the meantime, practicing breathing exercises can help you manage your anxiety and physical symptoms. Techniques like deep breathing, box breathing, or 4-7-8 breathing can be very effective in calming your nervous system.

You might be getting confused about what exact problem I have but when someone has an Ocd they feel mixed symptoms of anxiety and depression as well at time along with Ocd symptoms. Yes there is a need for you to regularly take your medications. I understand you might have doubts whether these meds are doing you any good or not or if they are deteriorating your health but trust is a key. These medicines are beneficial for you and are necessary for you. With counselling you will be able to work and overcome these thoughts which work as hindrance in your progress.
