Asked for Female, 49 Years

Greetings, My mother was 73 kgs in july month when she got admitted in the hospital due to viral fever.She has become very lean compared to before, now she is reduced to 70 or 69 kgs. She is also a Diabetic patient. Could you please suggest whether Thyroid test can be done for her or let me know your suggestions to do any other test based on the above concern. Thank you.
