He muss have underwent amputation surgical repair.. Post surgery there muss be period of rest when his muscle muss have loss his strength and memory to perform function. Please go to near by physiotherapist get his mmt of muscles of trunk and hip muscles of opposite side, even check for trunk muscle stability and start with good rehab programmer for that
