My baby boy 4.5 months old is diagnosed with umbilical Dermatitis. His umbilicus shows improvement when a hydrocortisone cream is applied. But soon after the dosage is complete, within a week or two, the redness and moisture recurs. Please suggest. Is this curable?

Hello. Don’t worry. Medications are available for treatment of eczemas and infections but to help you i will need some photos and history. If minor fungal infection is there then it will require antifungal also besides hydrocortisone.
