  4. Umbilical cord. Applying any medicine?

My daughter is quite cranky today, her umbilical cord has fallen off about 24hrs back, but there is a slight pus and blood. The pus was seen once before 18 hrs however, I still see slight blood wetness at the naval. No redness or coloration around the area. If it can heal on its own I would rather prefer it to heal natural (if no concerns), or is it must that I should be applying any medicine? Plz suggest. Attaching the current status photo of the same.

umblicus pus discharge is alarming.. please visit near by pediatrician so that they will send cultue and start on appropriate medication
