Ultrasound but I have no symptoms
This isn't a problem so much as a series of questions. I went to my doctor for a standard annual checkup. My doctor told me I had trace amounts of protein in my urine, so she wanted another sample. I went back a week later and gave another sample. Afterwards I went home and got a call saying she wanted me to have an ultrasound done. I feel completely fine, I don't have any symptoms, and there is no chance that I'm pregnant. I'm just wondering why she'd want an ultrasound done/what the problem is

if there is protein excretion in urine, then you just need to get a Ultrasound of Abdomen and pelvis to look for any reasons for proteinuria, they would look at the kidneys and assess its echogenicity.
