Hello, thank you for sharing your reports and treatment history. First, it is a good sign that your symptoms and inflammation have reduced — this means your body is responding to treatment. However, if the scan shows that the stone size has increased, it needs proper re-evaluation rather than continuing the same medicines blindly. In many cases, small stones (around 5 mm) can pass naturally or gradually reduce with properly selected homeopathic treatment — but this depends on: • Exact location of the stone • Type and composition of the stone • Your metabolism, hydration, and recurrence tendency • Whether the current medicine suits your constitution If the remedy is not correctly matched, symptoms may reduce but the stone may not dissolve effectively. Surgery is not always immediately required for small stones unless there is severe pain, obstruction, infection, or kidney damage. But treatment must be reviewed and adjusted based on updated reports. I recommend a detailed reassessment of your full case history and both scan reports before deciding whether to continue medical treatment or consider any procedure. You may consult Dr. Jyoti Kadkol for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment at Health Global Homoeopathy Clinic or through online consultation. Hello, I have carefully reviewed your ultrasound findings. Your earlier scan showed multiple gall bladder stones (cholelithiasis) with mild mucosal irregularity. Now, after 3 months, if the recent scan shows that the stone size has increased, that indicates structural progression ..even if your symptoms have reduced. It is important to understand: • Homeopathy may help reduce inflammation and symptoms • It may improve digestion and prevent recurrent pain episodes • But it does not reliably dissolve established gall bladder stones in most cases When stones increase in size or number, the risk of future complications such as: • Recurrent pain • Acute cholecystitis • Obstruction • Pancreatitis also increases. Since you are currently asymptomatic, this is the right time to take a surgical opinion from a general surgeon and discuss: • Stone size • Number • Wall changes • Risk assessment Elective laparoscopic surgery (if advised) is much safer than emergency surgery later. You can continue supportive treatment for digestion and inflammation, but decision regarding surgery should be based on imaging progression and surgical advice.
Next Steps
I would strongly recommend consulting a general surgeon with both scan reports. Take care.
