TSH coming low around 0.17
My mother taking Thyronorm 75 mcg for thyroid issue. Earlier her TSH use to come in normal range between .35 to 4.94 . But in latest report it is .17 only. Should medicine be reduced to 62.5 instead of 75, though T3 and T4 are still normal

A TSH of 0.17 is on the lower side, indicating that her thyroid hormone levels might be slightly elevated, possibly due to the 75 mcg dosage of Thyronorm. If T3 and T4 are still normal, it’s important to adjust the dose cautiously. It may be worth reducing the dose to 62.5 mcg or consulting with her doctor for further dose adjustment, as over-replacement can lead to symptoms like palpitations, weight loss, or anxiety. I recommend checking the thyroid function regularly and consulting her endocrinologist for confirmation of the dosage change. Feel free to contact me for more details on WhatsApp at eight seven six two seven four nine nine seven four.
