Tretinoin allergy???
I consulted a dermatologist for neck discoloration and the doctor diagnosed me with acanthosis nigricans and was prescribed Tretinoin 0.05 percent on the neck every night for 1 month. I have been using it followed by moisturizer in the morning for the past 20 days and I feel it has a somewhat lightened neck also but at the same time I have got dry skin and a discoloration on some parts which also feels a little scaly and dry. Should I continue with tretinoin or should I leave it completely??

Dryness is general side effect. Mix with moisturiser and then apply. Do alternate day application. In clinic consultation for proper examination and medical treatment
Next Steps
Use dermoys cream for local application and discontinue use of tretoin for dew days.
