Treatment for rpoc. Invasive procedure?

Hi,I had a medical abortion to terminate 4 weeks 3 days pregnancy on 6th sep.I took mifepristone followed by misoprostol after 2 days orally.I bled for 5-6 days & since then I have minor spotting,small clots coming out.Got an ultrasound (report attached) & the doc confirmed that though pregnancy was expelled,I still have rpoc. The doctor advised surgical treatment.However, since I am reluctant to go in for d&c, I opted for medical treatment.Yesterday,I was prescribed misoprostol 200 mcg twice a day along with methylergometrine thrice a day for 3 days. When do I determine if this worked? Is there any way to avoid surgical procedure.I mean herbs like ginger root or anything that can aid clearing the uterus?I have read that there's a chance of infection if rpoc is left untreated but still would not like to go for surgery at all,even if its a minor one. Can you pl suggest an additional alternative herb/medicine that can increase or ensure clearing uterus without any invasive procedure?
