Treatment for lung damage
Male 63 years old got an viral infection one month ago. On oxygen support for 20 days . Reinfection occured and again in icu and on high oxygen support . Doctors saying most of lungs are damaged and lung transplant is only option .
Currently on high dose of steroid and antibiotics .
Doc suspected ild .
Can homeopathy medines can help to avoid lung transplant ?

As seen during COVID, homeopathy is the only way to treat lung infections, allopaths can only manage the symptoms as they worsen. Homeopathic medicines can be given to an ICU patient, along with other treatment, however steroids are said to interfere with homeopathic medicines' action.

Yes you can try before thinking of transplant...there are few chances to recover but if infection is severe I would suggest don't take risk with yourself...inx findings are imp before going further...smoking in previous history etc

Hello practo user, i can help you to slowly and steadily work on getting better. I need to know the percentage of damage and how much of it is recoverable. With homoeopathic treatment indeed it is achievable, but even you need to know the limits to any treatment. The part that is not recoverable, can only be palliated. We can together reduce the steriods but not completely avoid them for the long run. Surely we can stop the transplant once the stage of current infection is known. The cause could be worked upon to stop the re infection.
