Toothache after root canal

Asked for Female, 24 Years

I had gone through a root canal treatment just 2 days before ,its done ,doctor said there was some infection in the root of tooth,so they cant go for crown yet,but after that i am feeling severe pain ,doc suggested to take 2 tab of ketrol dt,should i take it or not,and how long it will take to recover infection
