Hello,
As any surgical procedure some time is required for the body to heal completely. During the healing process some amount of discomfort is bound to happen. Keep the area clean, you can do a warm salt water gargle twice daily. If the irritation persists visit your dentist and get the area examined

Sometimes pain may last for 2 weeks. Painkillers with betadine gargles after meals may help. Get a check up done to see if there is an infection at the extraction site. In that case u may need to take antibiotics as well.
Usually, it's take 7-9 days tim after the surgical disimpaction of wisdom molar for the pain to get subsided completely, in som cases it subsides within 7 days also depending upon the operated site being healed, although the region u r tlking abt must be observed once agn bt for the temporary relief u may apply metrogyl-p ointmnt if u really feel its still paining at the operated socket or surrounding the area, with gargling twice a day with warm Saline water, as u might hav had pain killer probably prescribed by ur dentist along with antibiotics jst aftr the extraction for 5 days no need to hav those medicines agn excpt leaving the area fr rest fr few more days by avoiding taking hard foods and keeping the area cleaned proprly, in case the pain is unbearable thn u must go to ur dentist who had extracted ur wisdom tooth fr the needful things to be done,
First of all if u cant bear the pain then u take two tablets of ketorol dt dissolved in one fourth glass of water. Moreover the pqin which is not going might be because the adjacent tooth was also carious or some part of tooth framemt might be left inside. Without taking x ray difficult to judge
Just take a mild painkiller if required. Do hot water gargles with salt to keep the area clean. Avoid very hard food for sometime. Usually you will be pain free within 10 -14 days after extraction
