Tooth pain
Couple of months ago I was diagnosed with slightly chipped tooth doctor recommended me to clean teeth properly to avoid pain as it cannot be filled as it is slightly chipped from corner of teeth but it pains at night specially from last 3 days I am unable to sleep at night.
Is root canal last option to avoid pain.

wht kind of pain you have? if the pain is on chewing then you need rct followed by crown. i can see redness in ur gums also. let me know when you have pain so that i can give you a clear picture

May be you need RCT, if the crack or chipping propagates to the tooth nerve, generally my experience shows such tooth need RCT followed by crown
