Hi mam..
The pain may be due to carious teeth or due to wisdom teeth
Wisdom teeth is one that fails to erupt in its normal position in th given period of time..
Consequences of wisdom teeth:
**pericoronitis
** soreness of jaw
** Trismus
**bad breathe
**crowding of adjacent teeth
** Erosion of adjacent teeth
** cyst formation
If the pain is due to carious lesion X_ray (IOPA) of the involved teeth should be taken to check the extent of tbe carious lesion
If the caries is superficial simole filling is enough
In case of deep lesion, Root canal treatment should be done

Health Tips
Avoid self medication..
Medication is only temporary relief
Hi,
Tooth pain could be due to a number of reasons ranging from tooth decay to gum problems or an abnormally placed wisdom tooth. Please consult your dentist and get to know the cause of the pain. A dental pain has to be treated taking any kind of medications on your own will gibe u only temporary relief and in few conditions can even worsen the case.
Either a filling or if the cavity is too deep a root canal may be required. Consult a dentist and get an X-ray done. Your dentist will advise accordingly
