Hello practo user...the pain in upper jaw is definitely because of cavity tooth...swollen gums in lower jaw is due to infection spreading from upper cavity teeth. proper x-ray of both teeth region is required and U need to send photograph of that affected teeth region for proper diagnosis. Detailed case history is required .
