Hi...your mom can take pain killers for tooth ache as part of emergency treatment...but make sure you get that particular tooth checked at earliest. Painkillers taken for emergency are not to be continued without further consultation with dentist.Pain can be due to multiple reasons...

Hello, Yes she can take mild painkiller for toothache undoubted but I would rather suggest to get a consultancy done first to find out the cause of pain and then take the medication as prescribed. This would be a much better option because the painkiller will only resolve the pain momentarily.
