Tonsils and dry cough

Asked for Female, 32 Years

My wife is having tonsils mild fever and cough. Antibiotics doesn't seem to work. She has been taking amoxcylin 625 mg. Please suggest some other medicine.

Every persons has tonsil in their life. It is misconception for the tonsils. Tonsils are like other organs of body viz. eyes, heart, lung, kidney etc. Problem occurs when there is inflammation of tonsil/tonsillar region. So first avoid these misconception. Better to avoid "over the counter" treatment which will lead to more problem in future.
