I am 18years old female I had left-side tonsills larger than right doctor suggested me antibiotics  I used antibiotics for fivedays symptoms have gone but still I am having left swollen tonsill I saw assymetrical tonsills is the symptom of cancer is that true Is that normal to have enlarged tonsill

Hi. Some amount of asymmetry between the sizes of the two tonsils is acceptable. But if one of the tonsils is growing larger slowly or you notice any ulceration on the tonsil or there are swellings in the neck which are increasing in size, thats when investigations would be required to rule out cancer.
