Tonsillitis Grade III
I have grade III tonsillitis. I got it check 3 weeks ago. Doctor gave me levocet for 7 days, betadine and 10% h2o garles for 15 days and nasal spray for 15 days. I have no other symptoms - no fever, no pain in my throat, no pain while swallowing. And i was a chain smoker from past 4 years
But the swelling is not coming down. What should i do?

The size of tonsils does not decrease with medicines. It only has to be removed surgically if there is any problem like diff in swallowing breathing snoring or recurrent infection
