I had a tonsillectomy 3 days ago i got discharged yesterday. In 17 years old and I'm in agony they gave me paracetamol, ibuprofen codeine and a spray to take home but none of it is working.
I can't eat or drink and I have no strength and feel really weak. also I can't stop shaking and I keep going from really hot to really cold. It also hurts to breathe and I'm wheezing from inside my chest. I also have a blocked nose. Im worried I might have an infection or something

After tonsillectomy especially in adults pain will be very severe. Gargle alone may not be helpful and you may need to take better analgesic. Usually it is preferable to use good analgesics like aceclofenac. Usually pain will last for a week
