TNBC breast cancer in left breast
My mother is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for TNBC breast cancer. Total 8 cycles are suggested by doctor and 7 are completed. In her recent cycle, while chemo infusion through IV, she experienced pain and then after that now her left hand swells so much and little bit of pain also there when touching it. What should we do? Can we use Sumag dressing for swelling  as it was suggested by someone.

It looks like drug extravasation from your history. 7 cycles are done ,means the patient is undergoing paclitaxel chemotherapy. 2 nd reason can be thrombophlebitis.
