Recently have got the tiny white bumps around the lower end of penis. Its not paining but was bit itchy which went off after applying candid powder. But due to pubic hair friction it occasionally becomes itchy and it becomes a bit red which is at the end of the penis.
There is no pain but i see few other bumps but i am not sure if its a hair root or actually a bump.
Assist what to do, or some kind of treatment.

Tiny white bumps around the lower end of the penis (often near the corona or shaft) are commonly due to benign conditions such as pearly penile papules, prominent hair follicles, or mild fungal/irritant dermatitis. The fact that there is no pain, no discharge, and itching reduced after using an antifungal powder suggests this is more likely a superficial irritation or mild fungal involvement, rather than a sexually transmitted infection.
Conditions like Pearly Penile Papules are completely normal anatomical variants and need no treatment. On the other hand, mild fungal irritation such as Tinea cruris can cause redness and itching, especially with sweat and friction from pubic hair or tight clothing. The redness you notice after friction supports this explanation. Overall, your presentation appears non-serious and manageable with local care.
Next Steps
Focus on reducing moisture and friction in the area. Keep the region clean and dry, and prefer loose cotton undergarments. Trimming (not shaving) pubic hair can help reduce friction and irritation. Avoid repeatedly touching or scratching the bumps, as this can worsen redness. Continue observing the bumpsâif they remain stable in size, painless, and without discharge, they are usually harmless. However, if you notice rapid increase in number, persistent redness, pain, ulceration, or discharge, then a direct clinical evaluation is required. Health Tips
Maintain good intimate hygiene, but avoid over-washing or using harsh soaps, as this can irritate the skin. After bathing, ensure the area is completely dry before wearing clothes. Avoid tight jeans or synthetic innerwear that increases sweating. Keeping the area cool, dry, and friction-free is key to preventing recurrence. In most cases like yours, with proper care, the condition settles on its own and does not lead to any long-term issues. Thank you

Based on your description, the tiny white bumps around the lower end of the penis that are not painful but occasionally itchy and red are most commonly due to minor skin conditions, rather than anything serious.
Possible causes include:
• Fungal or yeast infection (especially since you got relief with Candid powder)
• Irritation due to friction from pubic hair, tight clothing, or sweating
• Folliculitis (hair root inflammation) – small bumps around hair follicles
• Pearly penile papules or normal skin glands (harmless, if non-itchy and stable)
The fact that:
✔ There is no pain
✔ It improves with antifungal powder
✔ It worsens with friction and moisture
…suggests a mild fungal/irritation-related issue, which is quite common and treatable.
What you should do:
✔ Keep the area clean and completely dry
✔ Continue using an antifungal powder/cream for a few days as advised
✔ Trim (not shave) pubic hair to reduce friction
✔ Wear loose, cotton underwear and avoid tight clothing
✔ Avoid scratching or excessive touching
When to be cautious:
If you notice:
• Increase in size or number of bumps
• Pain, pus, or discharge
• Persistent redness not improving
• Any growth that looks unusual
Then a direct clinical examination is important to rule out other conditions.
At Dr. Fayyaz Sexology Clinic, we provide confidential evaluation and targeted treatment for such concerns.
