Tinea cruris treatment
I was prescribed I-win 100 capsules, dazit 5mg tablet and eberfine cream all for two weeks and it has cured the infection on some area of my bum1. The infection was localised at 4 places on my bum area. It cured 2 areas and the remaining 2 areas still persist. The medicine is not effective anymore. The skin appears a little bumpy and rough to touch when felt, itchy, flaky when dried, worsen when weather is hot and humid and seem to improve when weather is cool. Can I get prescription for this?

Based on your history and the image, this still appears consistent with a persistent fungal infection (likely tinea / tinea cruris). Sometimes fungal infections partially improve with treatment but may persist if the duration of treatment is short or if moisture and friction in the area continue. The rough, itchy, and flaky appearance that worsens in hot and humid weather also supports a fungal cause. Helpful Tips / Word of Caution: • Wear loose cotton underwear and avoid tight clothing. • Change clothes after sweating and keep the area dry. • Avoid using steroid-containing creams, as they can worsen fungal infections. For proper assessment and a personalized treatment plan, you may consider taking an online consultation with me.
