I have a condition in which I can pull back the foreskin over behind the head of the penis with some effort while it is in normal condition. But cannot pullback when penis erected. Doctor say I require circumcision. Can a General Surgeon do a circumcision or this need to be consulted with a Urologist- Surgeon?...With some effort during normal condition I can pullback foreskin behind the head of the penis and again come to closed position. But why not during erection?

During erection ur penis becomes bigger in size and hence the skin around it becomes more tight..best treatment is circumcision. It's a simple procedure ...can be done by either general surgeon or urologist
