TSH is on higher side. Is it done from reliable lab ( NABL accredited lab if  affordable.) . Consult pediatric endocrinologist or pediatrician nearby who will examine the child for any hypothyroidism symptoms. It  should be confirmed before starting treatment
Next Steps
Consult ur pediatrician or endocrinologist. Repeat sample from standard lab and let doctor reassess the baby once
Health Tips
Maternal hypothyroidism doesn't straight forward cause hypothyroidism in New born babies but it's always better to get new born screening ( NBS) done  to rule out 11 disorders including hypothyroidism.
