Thyroid gland swollen
Hi My Aunt has Left lobe of thyroid gland  swollen, doctor has recommended to partially remove thyroid gland (left lobe). However functioning of thyroid gland appears to be normal.                                                        Surgery name : Hemithyroidectomy                                       Doctor has suggested following surgery, is surgery mandatory in this case..i have attached ultrasound thyroid scan report .. please check and  suggest .. Thanks
