Asked for Female, 22 Years

Recently i was diagnosed for my throat pain as enlarged tonsils. Doctor prescribed medicines like topnac sr tablets. But pain is not cured. Earlier, doctor has suggested operation for tonsils. I am in dilemma and want cure without any operation.

Chronic tonsillitis with recurrent attacks of throat pain more than 6 to 8 episodes per year usually needs surgery. If your symptoms are milder and not so recurrent then surgery is not required. Just enlargement of tonsils is not a disease and it won't cause any harm
