My daughter is suffering from throat pain since last 5 months. Pain is very wierd while speaking she feels pain in throat.she had nodules also but that disappeared but still she is suffering pain in throat while speaking. No pain while swallowing food.please provide proper remedy for her. She consulted with ENT specialist and speech therapist too. She took steam and did excercise and also took voice rest as prescibed by her doctors. She is also having problem of GERD but this is also in control now. She is not able to speak as it causes pain in throat. Pls suggest the ways to get rid of this pain.

first of all go for thyroid testing as per her gender this is most common in females ,later revert back with the reports ,blood profile required for thyroid which is ,FT3,FT4,TSH, SR FERRITIN level

Drink plenty of water,eat soft foods like cooked cereal, mashed potatoes, soft fruits, yogurt and soft-cooked eggs...advice to give adequate rest to her body..Avoid spicy foods or acidic foods.
Gargle with warm salt water. gargling several times a day can help relieve throat pain....she will require antibiotics to clear up infection..
