Looking at your image, there is a large ulcer on the underside/side of the tongue â this appears to be a significant aphthous ulcer (mouth ulcer), which is commonly triggered by fever, viral infections, stress, or vitamin deficiencies. Combined with your throat ulcers and fever, this looks like an acute viral pharyngitis with oral ulceration, and the antibiotics and vitamins your doctor prescribed are appropriate. Regarding your concern about the exposure 5 months ago â mouth ulcers with fever at this stage are very unlikely to be related, and testing at 5 months gives a conclusive result.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation if symptoms do not improve in 3â4 days or the ulcer grows larger.
your severe throat pain ("chuban feel"), lesions at the back of the throat ("ghav"), and tongue-surface ulcers point toward acute pharyngitis complicated by aphthous or viral stomatitis. Your mildly elevated Total Leukocyte Count (TLC) of 11.6 indicates that your body is actively fighting off an inflammatory or bacterial tissue response, which explains why the fever responded well to the current treatment.
Next Steps
Your intense concern regarding the sexual exposure 5 months ago is highly noted, but from a medical and epidemiological standpoint, your risk of transmission is completely negligible. You used protection, immediately replaced the compromised barrier, and crucially, your partner tested completely Negative via an arm-drawn serum Rapid Card test at the 51st-day milestone, which effectively rules out an active source of transmission during that encounter.
