Throat pain and fever

Asked for Female, 21 Years

I've been having sore throat for past few days and in spite of salt water gargling it didn't subside. Eventually it turns into cold and fever. This has been happening for 4 times in this month(july). In a hospital i was prescribed some antibiotic. Again now it's happening(sore throat, pain in throat, fever).

You might be suffering from viral pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a epidemic condition in this season. Symptomatic treatment in the form of pain killers and anti septic mouth gargle is sufficient. In severe cases antibiotic may be necessary.
